i never understood the need for these or the price associated with them, i admit it would come in handy if you get a flat on the beetham but it might cost cheaper to roll through on rims and replace those than buying run flats...

perhaps, just perhaps, not every one rolling on rims, that they can repalce just one of. and perhaps, some rims singularly, and definitely the whole set, are worth more than a set of run flats.

thinks if was steelies.............yeah, but........

Wouldn't you have to install a tyre pressure monitoring system with these run-flats?

Wouldn't this cost have to therefore be factored in when deciding on whether or not to install run-flat tyres?

No. If you don't have a TPMS in your car, then checking tyre pressures often is a good thing.

They have little dustcaps with a LED in it that blinks if the tyre pressure drops around 4psi below recommended pressure...$200TT at most for the set..if you could afford rims for $20G and tyres for $10G+..why not $200 extra?

i have 16inch run flats on my moms 626MX and 17inch run flats on my Galant
brought them from a used tire place in Siparia,
Tyres is 95% new and came of BMWs in Canada.

Price $250 for 225.45.17 $225 for 205.55.16

You can see when the 16inch tyres are soft or flat and they give a better ride
17inch rides hard and you will never know when they are flat.
