Not too long ago, there was a review about "super whites". Do a search.

And hold this:

I beg to differ to some extent on what is posted above, but maybe my eyesight has deviated.

HID kit is the best way to go, doh study anybody who say is less light an all kinda sheit

it will be less eyestrain 4 u. higher colour temps are more expensive though... I think $1600 for a 10000K kit. but if u want super WHITE then u need a lower temo than that

equipped2ripp, a retrofit is really taking out the projector from an oem- HID equipped car and fitting it in your headlamp, so that u get the benefits of OEM hid.....but u must have it aimed and aligned correctly to get the best output from it.

these days ppl from trinidad bringing in anything..why not a set of retrofitted headlights?

retrofitting is not that easy...many ppl have attempted to do it and then send their headlights to the pros...im not saying that it cant be done by u but it takes some skill

equipped2ripp, didn't mean that higher temperatures are necessarily more expensive. the trends in prices show this though...

SUZUKI SPORTsman, I wasn't comparing to projectors.... was comparing to the stock and low temperature aftermarket bulbs from the link Terran posted.

I saw a... couldn't tell what car it was - with an HID kit the other night.

Those headlights were so blinding with glare that even after the car passed me, I was still seeing huge blue spots before me. If I wasn't convinced about the dangers to using kits before, I am now.
