Steering Rack help

Almera gets a slight knocking noise only when turning right. The suspension is perfect and was checked but no problem was found. Could it be the steering rack?

velocity joints?
also the cradle arm bushings are a known point of weakness. not sure of all the symptoms though.

nah got all suspension parts checked already incl. velocity joints, cradle arm bushings etc. checked already.

oh....and I changed the inner ends Saturday

possible the bushing on the inner part of the rack....it might be a lil difficult to get that bushing kit to buy....you may have to change the entire rack if thats the case....

How much woould that entire steering rack cost? Anyone knows?

I have the same problem with my Corolla and it was the rack,however I'm still looking for one to buy.

I have the Toyota Corolla NZE 121 with the hydraulic rack that comes with the 1.6 and 1.8 engines and not the electronic type that comes with the 1.5 engine.
