Transmission shudder?

When I pull off I get a shudder before the car actually goes forward. It is more noticeable from dead stops if you mash hard. Car is wifey's EK3 LEV.
What could be causing this?

yeah, my ek3 cvt was giving that problem a few mnths after i bought it. i not too sure if it could have been fixed, but i changed the oil a few times and put in honda cvt plus recalibrate. that actually work for a while then it came back, did it a few times and i just couldnt fix it. they told me the tranny need repairs but called around and it was expensive to rebuild plus no gurantees, and i couldnt find a used one at the time, therfore convereted.

i say try the oil change a few times and do the recalibration thing.

Start Clutch slipping...........deteriorated CVT fluid. Use ATF-Z1 to replace or check Chaguanas Auto Supplies and find out about a service with cleaning the filters and changing out the oil. The hydralic pumps are not supplying the start clutch with enough pressure, from transmission fluid, to grip properly...........
