A/c idling problems

When the car is driving normally, a/c works fine. When in traffic or stopped the car feels as if the engine is losing power & might stall ,is a kinda stuttering in the engine as if it will shut off. The throttle body sensor was stuck, I fix that but the problem still there.Any suggestions?

the a/c idle control its at the bottom of the throttle body it may need a little servicing.
u could doit yourself if its not to clogged.
just take off the air filter.
with ther engine off u can open the butterfly valve and see the vent.
its that little hole you see when u open the throttle buterfly valve.
located at the bottom of the throttle body just get some bars conditioner or some gumsolve put a straw on the tip and spray it, leave it for abvot 5 minutes then switch on if the car still idling bad with the ac on then you will have to do ity with the engine runnin.
( if u do this u may have to gas the car as the gumsolve or bars would be a little to rich and the engine will cut off) if this still doesnt work u may need to take the throttle body out to service it . it isnt an expesive service. if this is the problem though youi should get a better idle after at least for a while.

try this. while the engine on and the car is at a stand still...
1. pump the brakes... does the car idle speed go up?
2. turn the steering from left to right etc. rigourously. does the car idle speed go up?

if the answer is no, the it will be ure idle air control valve. IACV... located to the back of the intake manifold closer to the TB.

if the car does idle up fine, then ur eproblem is more specific

I'm having a similar problem, the car's idle becomes erratic when the A/C is switched on. idles up an down up an down up an down kinda thing. also the car vibrates more than i would like when the a/c is on.

^yepp. i just been lazy to get it sorted out. i cleaned an re-oiled my air filter (1st time since i bought it over 2yrs ago). and that helped a bit. but its still hunting.

try playing around with the screw on the intake manifold just above the TB. u can help minimize the honting.
