Yea fellas so I recently bought an EK4 with engine above, the previous owner bought a tranny and showed me the bill for him to change it, on the instrumental cluster ther is D S L and another letter to the left of the D

The shifter has D4 D3 2 and 1

1st issue in D3 the cluster says D however in D3 nothing comes on, when I pull it to 2 it says L ... 1 nothing comes on

2nd issue there will be times I am rolling and if I mash out it won't kick down to 1st gear it would run 2nd gear right out then shift as normal same thing in 3rd gear it won't kick to 2nd if I mash from 3rd if I pull down the shifter however it will kick down

3rd issue is when the car shifting at 7800 rpm is like the car it has a slight lag then shoots when the next gear is engaged

Idk if any of this is normal I had a primera before :( help me out plz

I checked for vacuum leaks and thank god I did, one of the hoses that carries coolant to the iacv wasn't tightened so coolant was dripping slightly out/ unfortunately no signs of a vacuum leak, could the tps or maf be fouling?

If d tps givin problems d idle wud be flutuating while driving. U can also test it with a volt meter. Clean d maf aswell. If u put your hand on the mouth of d tb does d car cuts off? If not u cud still have a vacuum leak.
