EK3 radiator issue

fellas the water in my radiator has to be topped up too often and i am not seeing signs of any leaks. However when i start up the engine with the radiator cap off the water has alot of fine bubbles in it constantly. A partner told me that it may be a bad gasket head??? i wanna hear from the experts on here...thanks again in advance

I have that same problem with my car recently n it was my head gaskit.every morning I would have to top up with around 15 ounces of water.try covering the radiator start the car and put a finger at the end of the hose that goes into the overflow and see if its building any pressure.

u know the overflow never goes down in truth...i always hadda be topping up the radiator itself...any further thoughts?

should cost around 1000 cuz the oem honda gasket is about 400 then add labour and you would need fresh oil and stuff

Check this properly b4 u spend any money. To check for the bubbles properly take a small water bottle (blue waters) for Eg fill it with water take off d rad cap and turn d bottle upside down in d rad. Secure it so it won't fall off. Start d engine and look for bubbles in d bottle. I had an issue with loosing water. It was d rad clogged. The bottom rad hose is another culprit and d rad cap.

Sounds like the water pump or the water pump gasket had that problem with my brother in law EK2

Don't but water in it duh lol, water evaporates so your gonna have to keep adding it because engines get hot enough to evaporate water use all coolant

hey guys it ended up being a small hose going into the throttle body that was dry rotting.
