Have a question for you honda men, I'm getting a really good deal on a local honda civic es8, original condition, great mileage etc...

What I wanna know is what are your reviews on these cars? How are the prices on parts?(because I always hearing honda parts expensive) and do these have CVT transmission or normal transmission? I noticed on the shifter it had P,R,N,D,Ds, and 2 I believe(if that's any help)

Thanks in advance for any advice given

That's a non cvt transmission. They are decent cars and parts are reasonably priced.

Thanks man, the cvt transmission was my biggest concern.

In my experience with an es5 (basically the same car) shocks are expensive. If you have the electric power steering a little rubber goes bad and rattles the steering rack. The trans went and had to be rebuilt was a fu with about "90k" on it

The camshaft and crankshaft sensors are also known to go easily on these models.

Crankshaft sensor is about 750 for an original honda new by sheriff in south. It's also very simple to change once you have the correct tools...

Do you know any mechanic that changes the slider bushing on the electric steering rack?
