WTK Are all d series auto trans interchangable

i have a d15b nonvtec and i want to swap the engine for a vtec and use same trans

yes i believe the trannys are the same when i converted to manual , i sold a guy my tranny an he had a vtec engine and my car was non vtec .... some trannys have a brain under the mat by the fuse box make sure to get the rite brain with the tranny if swapping
