Yes it's a decent first car. It's easy to maintain and won't require tonnes of parts if you take care of it and maintain it properly and on time. There are still a lot of parts available for these sono pressure there. The d15 motor pulls good, suspension is comfortable and well it drives good. What more you want?
If the car is equipped with the cvt version of the transmission, it is rumored that these are a bit problematic. Otherwise, it's a great care.
