Engine Misfires

Honda PPl,

My engine (d15b vtec) started misfiring, about 2 weeks ago but only when i cross 60 km it does so, engine runs good when on idle.

plugs are good, ne ideas what this cud be??

plug wires or coil if it misfires onli when vtec com in

Sounds like a coil, plugs or wire... ensure the wires are in properly, sometimes they may look like they are..

if not, take some contact cleaning, and some wd40..pass a small clean on the contacts of the wires and try again.

also, check the colour / condition of the actual plugs, would tell if its a fuel problem also.

No problem bro..but really it sounds like an ignition problem...if you know anyone with a spare dizzy jus either swap it or just take out the coil and ICM and switch them.

IMO, its ALOT easier to swap the coil and ICM...
