Honda civic cvt QUESTION

A Boddy of mine have a honda civic with a cvt transmittion
On reverse geat it has a delay about 2 sec and then goes into gear.
but he checked the oil to see if the clutches is burnt .
But it didnt smell like if the clutches is burnt but on
the drive gear it has no delay i dont know if its the sensor
or the oil have to be change or the oil pressure has a breakage on it
Any one has any idea's about this delay.

I've been having same problem for quite a long time now as well , same cvt civic,been changing the fluid every yr since i got it 8 yrs ago.Mechanic said to change the transmission filter but I've read its inside the transmission so that was a no no,anyone else can enlighten us.

check clutches or filter in tranny....

Filter can be cleaned with carb spray , i had a CVT it was bucking when pulling off , cleaned the filter and flushed the tranny twice to get out all d gunk worked like new ......

wat if wen u reach like 160 u hear a grating sound and car starts holding back?
