After 16 yrs of intense duty... transmission started to slip and ...wait a minute or two for reverse to come in ...being cheap i opted for a used unit ...7 days warranty..so with fingers crossed...installation began...been 2 months and all is well....

If i had cleaned the tranny and didnt take pictures would of been faster...one bolt head was rounded thats why i needed to take off the exhaust manifold... :D

dan u rel skillful to replace a tranny with hand tools n jack stands in 2.5hrs

Took it by a mechanic to change the converter seal and he took about 1 hr...he had a lift and air tools...

OIL CHANGE!!!!!......I added 1 quart pitch oil 2 clean engine and start for 8 mins ...then change....1 hr.. :mrgreen:

How come the tranny gone again. Is less than two years you installed that? What kind was it? CVT? or normal

normal ....non cvt....

oh yeah alternator went also....looking for regulator and rectifier bought foreign used alternator and its a 4 pin....anybody did this conversion with success?

a knock or a clank like something locked back into place?

check your wheel bearing if is the latter

check over them links bro,if is not the exact replacement you get that,i live with that prob for 2 years,it looks the same ,it just isnt,it may be off by a slight bend.Also do you only hear this noise in rought road when the suspension is moving up and down

Yeah radiator was leaking...so my aluminum replacement fix.. 8-)
no more topping up every morning....
