seems like i have transmission problem at 181000 kms on the odometer. No forward movement after driving for a while. Have to cur off engine and restart to move.
options were
1... to flush out the transmission and add lucas shudder oil ( not guaranteed ) - a little costly too
2...buy a new transmission which i was told is about $4000 - $5000 used
3... rebuild/service the transmission which may be cheaperthan having to buy one..
got one quotation to service the transmssion for $5000 inclusive of labour
Anyne can help out here?
pm or reply

Oil pump in tranny gone through, you wouldn't. Get one to buy unless it's cable type

i suppose the entire transmission would have to be taken down to access the pump
can you access it without taking down or taking apart the transmission?
hope that this is the solution to my problem as the transmission diagnostic tests showed up nothing
price so ar or a used electonic transmission is $7000
