HELP. 99 ek3 starting issue

my car sometimes jus DONT start for hrs. then out of d blue it would start perfectly in one bounce. i keep hearing a clicking sound from under glove compartment when turning the key to start position,but no start. its like its jus bein stubborn. this normally happens when its been parked up for a couple hrs. but only "sometimes". Any ideas?????

the "click" is the fuel pump priming.
u check the battery?

battery isnt d problem.
no its a small box under d glove compartment lookin like a big relay that clicking..

that is the relay for the fuel pump, clicking is normal.
when last u change fuel filter, plugs, plug wires?

sounds like your main relay...a common problem

yea but reix, ent the relay clicks when it engages?
wouldnt no clicking mean its bad?
OP never said how many times it clicks though. clicking once when key is turned to on position is normal afaik

Well it has all d symptoms so far, lol. Other than that I'm thinking maybe his alarm/security system is malfunctioning

well OP, put the alarm in valet mode and see if the problem persists.
this would determine if its alarm.
