Hi I'm thinking about buying an EG8 civic for my wife, it's a PBL, one owner, carboreutor 1600cc engine, body in great condition, needs flashover due to parking outside, new tyres, interior needs some work and back shocks need changing. Is 25K a good price, and availability of parts and prices. Also dependability of carb engine. Thanks.

Not sure bout d carb engine but parts are widely available and the prices are fairly cheap. I recently saw a d15b vtec with tranny for about 5k and some tuners even selling stuff much cheaper than that.

thanks for the info guys, i'm buying it on saturday, for 23k, car also has a new deck and eg9 spoiler, with new 13"tyres.
