I think Spoon makes some great products and does some outstanding engine work, but they are majorly over-priced and they tend to engineer their products a bit on the conservative side.
Spoon seems to rely more on long term operation than actual maximum power production... which is why it seems their products are freqeuently outperformed on the dyno. I mean... I am buying parts to make power... if I wanted stock engine life... I'd buy an OEM honda part, ya know ? Other than that, they make decent parts and good suspension stuff.
I have an awesome Honda mechanic in Miami that is super expensive for ANYTHING and I'd rather have him build an engine for me than get ass-reamed by Spoon.
The are also a bit snooty... And that' s what I think
