error codes

how do you check error codes from the ecu if it does not have the led display?

if you doh have the led, how you know the check engine light on?

ok. I have an 87 teg. The original ecu had an led that would flash the codes. the jdm ecu that came with the zc motor does not have an led. X2 jumped the jack to see if the pgm fi light would flash the codes but it just stayed on.

I am getting this light(pgm) coming on so I wanted to check the error codes.
