can anyone give the procedure in changing a TPS in a SIR civic b16a

Yes, take off teh throttle body. Disconnect the two hoses with cooland, unpug the two sensors, TPS and MAP and unbolt the four bolts holding the throttle body in place.

You can then access the TPS and take it off with a torx hear screrwdriver OR a small flathead, but you have to be careful.

BUT maybe you don't have to change the TPS, the connector gives troubple after a while.

Check to see if your car is throwing a code first. If not it may be intermittently working, which is more than likely a problem with the clip and not the TPS itself.

Describe the symptoms here and we can all try to help you out.
