By chance u did any exhaust work? i have a 2001 auto tranny and before i used to get up to 190 with no effort but after taking out resonator and changing barrel i cud barely pass 170. however when i use d3 (kinda like manual) i get to 185 or so on d3 but when i shift to D i cant get passed 4500rpm..

Fellas.....even with a JDM SiR dat 4th gear final drive ratio too low for a B16A to overcome. Too wide a ratio difference between 3rd and 4th. Yuh really need a manual to enjoy the B16A.
But 3rd gear nice too bad!!
With the kinda traffic we have...yuh could run north-south in 3rd right through
I did a rebuit on mine and it would pull to 190 really quick even from 160 no problems there, speed cut was at 190, but then I was running MSD Blaster coil,cold air intake and extractors they were the four into one type extractors not even a very good quality one but I guess it helped. manual b16
