back two have the last 3 - 6 upper rings damnaged due to NO adjustment on installation by a WELL KNOWN HONDA SHOP. :roll:

was better off driving on stock blown shocks and prings rather than risking some n00bs to install them. :evil:

Lesson learn't! check over all work done before you drive off :!:

Dude... if I detailed the complete SH*T that was done to his coilover install... I would need a whole page to write it out.


Lets just say AFTER he paid to get this simple install done.... his car was DANGEROUSLY low and I had to take half the night to repair the dumb ass mistakes that were made. They prolly will cause the brand new shock he had put on to blow out early in it's life, they left parts out... meng... it was bordering between funny and omig.

On top of it all... they damaged BOTH rear coilover sleeves.

if damage to the sleeve have a cnced...
pm the shop that did it.. cuz i mine to put on and i wah know who not tuh go by.....

D16y8 comes in at like 4600 I think (i used to have one... ah should be shame... :oops: )

^^ nice! at a 7k redline.. thats a decent amount of vtec! for a D series.. i like

what does this mean...
say ur vtec point is 5400 and the dyno shows Tq is 100 and and HP is 140
and at 5800 tq is 110 and hp is 149
if you move ur vtec point to 5800
u will get a "harder pull feel" than at 5400, but from 5400 to 5800 you will not feel the tq with was there before as the will show some thing like 130, so u still feel that small pull but not like you will at 5800...
NOW
if u have EMS and a dyno, what i can do is try to bring ur vtec poin as low as you can
how say at 5200 after playin with timing and fuel u got 112tq that will be alot better..


wouldn't you agree that the best way to achieve this is using the factory ecu ... if it were possible to alter the ignition/timing maps???
Well don't listen to your 59 year old mechanic... it's possible..
