even though Dynamat Superlite did cross my mind, it defeats the purpose of why Honda omitted the sound deadening in the first place.

thanks for suggestions

When i painted my civic.... i made the straightner used the special tape that lifts the rubber around the front glass, so there was no paint edge, and a original look. like the never re-paint kinda look,
also i lifted the door strips off so the paint would not stick the strips to the door kinda look...
and same for the flare... afterward i lined the meeting of the flare to the bumper with black silicone, very neatly to give a original finish(looks like a rubber strip)

jus some advice, not telling you how to fix your own car

i know exactly what you are talking about. That paint edge you are speaking of irritates the crap out of me. Will be sure to prevent that. My painter knows exactly what i need done...money after.
Thanks for you suggestion.

Brand new B16B gearbox...excluding the casing.

i.e - mainshaft, countershaft, all gears 1-R, all synchros, all bearings, seals and rubbers etc...nothing was spared.

Guaranteed absolutely NO problems..
