Does it connect directly to a LCD PC monitor via VGA/DVI port, or do you require an adapter to achieve this?

Is there any cheaper kits available, probably with 2 cameras?
It's for a school that urgently needs a system. (Over $10, 000 missing over the course of 3 weeks).
