Re: The Hybrid Fuel Economy Thread

Yes. However, based on my research, I won't recommend anything over 60A fuse and would definitely stick with something Class D.

Where sells NP Ultra 0w20?

I'm seeing it being advertised but it's not on their website and I can't find anywhere that sells it.
I tried their 10w30 and was very satisfied with my previous vehicle. I was told since I bought my car that they were working on a 0w20 for hybrids. So now that it's out... where do I get it??

x2 on the powerbass.
Used those in my and a few friends' vehicles.
They work well with deck power.

Re: Toyota Aqua / Prius question

I've never heard about the mirrors having a delay before opening.

USB and AUX is normal. It really depends on the headunit that the car was equipped with.

Based on your description, the black circle on the dash may be a microphone for use with bluetooth and voice commands.

Many RORO cars only come with one FOB
...like mine.

It can be copied... for a little over $2,000

In my opinion, that's a state of mind thing.
I drove my car the same way and it responded no differently.

Re: Toyota Aqua / Prius question

What do you mean by "When the battery was charging"?

If you have to place the fob on the start button to start it... that battery's dead.

Nope. Just had to accept it.
No matter what I did or how much power I used, sound hardly ever escaped the car.

Re: The Hybrid Fuel Economy Thread

So in the name of science I just tried a tank of Premium since it only costs $30 more to fill.

38.273L of Premium gave 944.3 KM (24.32 km/L)
38.256L of Super gave 945.1 KM (24.7 km/L)

I can thereby confirm that Premium makes no noticeable difference

Re: The *Official* Trinidad Spotters Thread!

MVT applies due to the power of the electric motor. I'm just not sure how to calculate it. Do not see how it could the law clearly states by cc rhis dies not have cc so unless they change the law it should not apply “Electric vehicle” means a vehicle with an engine size not exceeding 179 kilowatts,...

Assuming the US$35,000 price tag, let's say $40,000 landed, can someone explain how the taxes will be calculated on the Model 3, please?

Re: Strange loss of bass

I had this same phenomenon happen when I had my Rover. Thousands of watts and nothing was traveling outside of the car. And I was told the same thing that these hatchbacks were great for bass. I had 2,000 RMS in bass, 0 AWG wiring, proper eletrical, no rattles... all the good stuff. In my current ca...

Thought so myself, but no, it's a hybrid.
It's "e-Power" name is because the engine never directly drives the wheels.

Is that what people are calling the "heretical mode"?] This is actually the first time I saw this. Thank you for sharing! It's amazing how much I learn about how this car works as I drive. But to answer, yes. Taking your foot off the pedal and putting it back on once you're cruising at 90...

Prius Audio Upgrade

Next month makes one year since I've taken ownership of this vehicle, so it's been too long for me to upgrade my audio. I still believe that for a stock system, it wasn't too bad. So let's just get into it. I'm including some pics of scrapping the door since I haven't seen many of these online. #1 -...

Re: System Upgrade in Hyundai Ioniq

Be careful with this... last I heard... once you splice a single wire in that car it voids the warranty. That said, I'm with everyone else on this. Component in front, coax in the rear and your Rockford Sub. I'm not too much into the need for a processor since you're accustomed to Pro Audio. You may...
