Re: 3 way active front stage question...

Well I do it differently. Tweeter is tweeter. Sub is sub. The midrange and midbass share the mid output from the HU. I should mention that I don't use TA anyway. Signal is split at the amplifier. Staging is done using phase and gain adjustments. can i quess that ur midrange is mounted in the kick p...

Re: Kickpanel midranges, a thing of the past?

i also think that along with dsp's, the small format widebanders also make it more possible to have a dash mount setup without it being obstructive and noticeable from mars...the small drivers that have a frequency range of several octaves are the go now...as you can have possible down to 100hz on y...

Re: Kickpanel midranges, a thing of the past?

well Jon, if its new is new probably to the west. dash mounts have been the norm in european competition for a while now. I think the introduction of highly sofisticated dsp's have allowed for this trend to develop a bit more on the us scene. i am a fan of high mounted mids with its inherent challen...

Re: Mid-range driver choice help.(DLS or Morel)

that 6.3 iridium setup is a dream.

one of the best i've ever used.

as for the original post i would choose the dls.....having used both

they are similar and share alot of the same structure ( at one time many believed morel built the dls drivers) , but i preferred the dls..
