Many people love AutoRX
Not sure if its available down here, but if you follow it to instructions, its supposed to work wonders..

That said, its not a cheap fix but probably the best if you want to speed up the cleaning process

Good post and im interested to see you mention Shell Helix Ultra.. being up in the states half the year, I was asking about this oil, and people made it clear the only place you can get it is the Ferrari dealership... Talking to people online and some obscure references on shell's website, I have re...

Indeed, I use a magnetic drain plug on both my rides and also a filter magnet on the accord, and you would be shocked just how much crap it picks up that would have been circulating in your oil... The mag drain plugs are actually pretty cheap as well.. Oh yea, something thats often neglected here in...

If you been constantly using Mobil1 , and doing changes on time, you really should'nt need a flush.. Just do this if you are worried.. Shorten your oil change interval for the next year or so.. ie. Don't wait until your oil is disgustingly black.. After about 4 changes like that, pop your valve cove...

This obsession with heavy weight oil in Trinidad doesn't really make any sense... Case in point, in Florida people use 10w-30 throughout the year.. including the summer which is equally hot if not hotter than Trinidad.. What im saying is, there is no real need (unless you are burning or leaking like...

Take a quick trip down to Neal and Massey and have an ask.. they themselves not even sure about their pricing... If they choose their engines right and market it right, they could create a good price point for themselves above the Japanese but under the German cars... Using the venerable 2.0L Turbo ...

I had to make the same decision, went with the OEM over the NGK.. I normally am an NGK lover mind you, but I wanted to keep my wires black, and I saw 1 or 2 dyno runs that showed no real gain with the NGK.. OEM (which was sumitomo in my case) turned out to be about $40 US, nearly same as NGK.. MSD m...

I would go with Yokohama Advans or Avid's if you could find them in Trinidad... If not, Toyo is excellent for the price.. Truth is, unless you doing work on the engine to justify premium, you just spending extra for no gain.. Honestly, most mineral oil in trinidad is ridiculously viscous.. to get into 10w and 5w, you normally talking full synth (group 3 or 4)
