Re: Buying a PDB Fortuner - What to do First?

one thing i would change coming to 100,000km is all the glow plugs along with timing belt. i saw a couple of them with higher mileage have issues with glow plugs being stuck, i suspect the head of it swollen. at least remove and check and apply anti seize Toyota timing belts go for 150 000km. Re: NEED ADVICE. Ownership of a Mercedes Benz

Good advice so far .... get the amg kit, stay away from the diesel esp if it's being imported. And budget for maintenance. This ain't no B14 you're buying. State of the art, precision engineering that needs to be taken care off. Lots of electronics too which can be problematic at this. But the thril...

T&T OFFICIAL New Vehicle Prices & Discussion Thread

So the sportero went from 275K leather fully loaded to 299k leather fully Loaded??? Car sales in the shitter and prices increasing? Piss being called rain? The BAIC is on sale at the same price? Re: Advice on Pros and cons of 2017 BMW 330e

Facelift (New) Hyundai Santa Fe. Retaining same powertrains as before but will also add Hybrid and Plug In Hybrid 1.6T engine just like its sibling the new Sorento. Would be interesting to see if Massy brings in the Hybrid versions and the price they would call for it. Same for Southern Sales and t...

Re: Any Prado Owners on the forum?

Just a quick update from my end. 2005 kzj120 series doing approx 185 000km (basically same engine except for the intercooler as the kzj90 series) Was getting a brief but loud engine knock on cold start ups for approx 3-5 seconds. Was told it was the injectors, the oil filter clog, the oil strainer c...

Got a brochure for the fully loaded civic. In one word.... Disappointing. 16" rims (rather than 18), halogens (rather than led), no adaptive cruise control, no blind spot monitoring, 180 watt 6 speaker instead of the 450 watt 10 speaker audio that every other country's fully-loaded trim has. A...

What model specifically?

1kd and 1kz diesel engines have been good.

1gd (2.8L new diesel engine) with DPF sensors seems problematic.
