Re: nissan frontier 3.2

so i guess technically it wont do any harm? just basically more wear on the axles over time? correct? The frontier with the locks on the wheels features a full locking front differential. It means the two tyres when locked will rotate at the same rate. That translates into bad wear on the tyres whe...

Re: WTK: Nissan Frontier Excessive Bouncing

Frontiers bounce. That's how it is due to the oil shocks they have. If its bouncing excessively, consider replacing the front shocks and you'll see improvement. Put oil/gas shocks and the ride will get more stiff and bounce even less I opted to keep some bounce and have a relatively soft ride with t...

Re: Hard Start on a Frontier

IT would seem that many people have oil going into the intake from the egr valve. I recently discovered the same problem on my qd32. The Neal&Massy tech says there's nothing much that can be done about it.(not that we trust their diagnostics all the time) The EGR though routes noxious oil fumes ...

Tucson transmission 'morning sickness'

The transmission shifts rough or sometimes has a big delay shifting when its cold. Once you drive for about 2-3mins and everything heats up, the transmission shifts smoothly. Have the same problem with our Almera for about 3 years or so and it never developed further on that one. I'd like to think t...

Well citizen that is an excellent question and I thank you for it. I think its great that we live in a town where you can ask questions. Because without questions, we just have answers and an answer without a question is a statement.

Sounds like it is in valet mode - try opening a door and while said door is open press button one - then button 2 - then button one again. This works for the 300 ESP and may work for urs. Ah cool it worked!! Thx alot for the info. I was planning to pull out the thing and look for a reset button. So...

Viper 350HV problem..need help

The alarm was installed in March 2009 A few days ago, I disarmed the vehicle by pressing the AUX button then the Arm/Disarm button(making it Arm/Disarm without the annoying chirps). Its nothing unusual, I always do this. The status LED is now lit solid all the time wether armed or disarmed. The alar...

Armor all does usually do a fine job of preventing the dash from cracking and it supposedly has some UV protectant in it. You could treat the dash to a light film as often as u wash the car. Prestone car wax and cleaner does take off stains and nasty marks from the paint and also on the interior har...

A blonde woman stops by a shepheard and tells him that she always wanted a nice little sheep of her own The shepheard says "I've got hundreds of sheep, you can go take any one you want" She happily goes and makes her selection...As she's leaving the shepheard stops her and says "Ma'am, thats my dog.."

i guessing the man who do it is not trini...probably from some low moisture country here in trinidad, anytime you touch your lights, it gon sweat or turn into fish tank. spend the extra $2500-3000 for a pair of aftermarket lights... when those get messed up, you can always put back the nice originals

Or if you can't reach from below, look through the front grill for the point where the cable comes to the locking mechanism and see if you can use an iron rod or something to fit through the grill and prise it to pop the hood. Take care not to score/break the grill.

If the engine is burning oil, it means the piston rings are leaking...anything that will stop that leaking has to be a paste thats more or less filler to plug the leak. Its understandable that the tappets get quiet if there's gunk now plugging up all the free space between components. Increased comp...
