Used to get a knock around 50, then i turned up the inj time .02ms and it was reduced to about 28-33. It also brought my inj duty down from 100% to 96%. But if i w...

Re: b18c1 vs b16a4 - engine specs

bringin back the dead.

Just curious, are there any OEM pistons that i can use in the B18C Type R, that would raise the compression higher than the stock 11:1? Say if i were to use B16B pistons?
Or would i have to go aftermarket?

Lol, reading ppl compare apples to oranges is hilarious. Always talking about why your car is better than the other. Every engine has its pros and cons. There's no boost to crank up on a 20V if u need a lil more power. But try racing a 20V on a circuit against a FTE. The FTE guy will be holding his ...

wow this topic is really old and outdated...
and it wasnt the con rod bearings, they were fine actually, the main crank bearing closest to the flywheel is what spun.

Ok, Ill check the wires, (although a code is usually indicated for shorts in TPS wiring), ill change the FPR and see if that solves the problem. If not, i guess ill have to take down the tank. :S

Its not the first time its done this. But because I hardley go on long runs, I dont get the problem so often. The ONLY thing that causes it, is when the rpm is kept steady for a long time. Once it starts to bog, the only way to resolve the problem is to back off the throttle. I did fill up in a diff...

Leaning out problem? 20V BT .

Driving down south saturday night, I noticed a very strange problem. When crusing at say 4-5K rpm for a while (5mins). The car would suddenly start to bogg badly, untill i release the X and let the rpm drop a little then start accelerating again. When i noticed the pattern it was developing, I tried...
