I own a Bajaj. So far it works well. Great on fuel an starts every time. The dealer stop bringing them but has a whole warehouse of parts still. Top speed is only 115km

yep it was previously a taxi car, but the price was very right and the chassis condition was sound, thats all that really mattered as i wanted a project. and yes it can be done, duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint is the bomb!

so i decided to paint over my dashboard due to faded out look of the original paint on it and decided to show the steps for anyone else who encountered this and hates how it looks feel free to comment and share any helpful hints u may hav :) BTW i bought this car in a mess because i wanted a project...

yes the rotor needs to be reduced to fit, also check back the link i sent. also shows where SHUD hav been ground on the bracket

the amount of work involved to scrap the box and get the parts and hav them replaced, its cheaper to buy a foreign used gearbox

screwdriver, multitester, electrical tape or heat shrink, a few peices of wire and maybe and ecu pinout diagram & thats it. only way to know is to line up ur panel against the one with the tach and trace back the electrical connections on the panels since u plan on diy. its really simple. jus ta...

most likely wiring will be required. not much though, jus maybe switch around a few pins and possibly hook up a tach signal, small work.

the ep82 stock lsd gearbox has an extension on the right side axel meaning it uses a shorter right axel than a non lsd box. if its aftermarket lsd installed in a normal box, look where the inner cups go into the box, u either see str8 thru to the other side or not at all. if u look and u see a shaft...

an e-series engine swap will be ur best an most cost effective bet, str8 bolt up. an a-series engine will require work done to the mounting brackets. other than that. its a matter of choice what engine u wanna put... 5efe is the largest displacment e-series engine>>1500cc

only other things i can think of is gear synchronizer rings, but it dont makes sense changin if ur gear not grating. Toyota built sum really reliable boxes...

ep82 can work as well bolt for bolt...only the e-brakes cables are a lil shorter so all bracket mount wont work. u hav to take of a heat sheild under the car to get access to remove the old setup though. good luck with that! that sheit riveted down! ahah..IMO the drums held way better...the disks ar...

so if u put ur foot on the gas does it smoothen out or does it break up an cut off? does it idle normally after its warmed up? this is on a 4efte motor right?

yeah hybridsoul, u can boost d stock high comp engine, d compression ratio is like 9.8.1 stock, jus gotta use back ur 4efte electronics on it, an possibly sum sort of management to retard timing & add fuel since ur using a larger displacement engine an injectors and ecu mapped for a 1300cc engin...
