Re: Teaser announcement - SIDE B event in **MARCH 2015!!!

Is the beginner course going to be family friendly? Meaning can my 5 yr old son be in the car too?
He was allowed at a previous offroad event and loved it!!!!

Engine completely stock- no internal work or tuning. Thing is when i got the car there was no stock boost solenoid!! I installed a AEM boost controller and thus far the car runs roughly 15 psi but it spikes to bout 16 or so. By red line it is bout 13psi. So based on info above i can aim for bout 17 ...

Only used premium fuel. No sign of pre igniting and the knock sensor still there. The spark plugs appear to be burning good (not lean). WRT the car working better when cold VS hot> this as well as the other symptoms were there BEFORE the build so i doubt it has anything to do with the higher comp. N...

The harness that came with the b18c engine was used. I doubt it has to do with the distributor cuz the coil, module, rotor and cap were all changed. Compression is good. TPS seemed to be good when scan was done. WRT rebuild.... b18c engine> no head work or block work was done. CTR pistons used (high...

Yes the problem was there before rebuild.
Not original engine for the car, engine is a foreign used one.
Module was changed as well.
Can anybody recommend a good mech to check through the car?.... in the west preferably.
Thanks for responses thus far.

Already changed plugs, plug wires, coil, new battery and tried a different ECU. On occasion the car would sputter but for just one second then back to normal. If the O2 sensor was defective wouldn't that throw a check light? Also had a scan done which turned up nothing. Engine was recently rebuilt b...

Ok so I know the best way to tune the VAFC is using a wide band O2 sensor or a dyno . Can it be tuned effectively using an air fuel ratio gauge??

Quick question.
If u have an N/A and a turbo car both doin 13 secs which u think would be a better car for daily driving. In terms of being reliable and easy on gas????
My guess is the turbo cuz u could stay out of boost. What allyuh think?
