The RE Audio MT would come out in front for output, lows and power handling.

I have put up to 350rms clean power without burning. You need to be careful on box size depending on the power you are looking to put on it.

So I have used both subs the new lines and the IDMAX has an edge over the RE SEx series and the SE series . It plays smoother more accurate lows with more control than the SEs. However you do get a bit more output from the SEx subs.

If price is a concern then RE SEx is the way to go.

Good advise there by Pioneer. We are using them with up to 350 - 400 rms clean power in recommended enclosures daily driving/playing vehicles .

These subs come dual 2 ohm and under. Dual 3 is kinda strange. Is the sub new ? If not coil may have gotten so damage due to heat, increasing the resistance a bit.

Amp was driven into some serious clipping to squeeze out the 1300 watts. 10% thd?? thats just nasty.

Amp is good for about 1000 rms give or take..

From the specs provided, your amp is rated at 600 Watts rms @ 2ohm

The sub is rated at 1600 watts max and 400 rms.

A dual 4 ohm model would work pretty well off that amplifier

You may damage the amp in the long run. Especially if u want to use it for daily playing. For spl burps, that shud be fine.

Why not consider a MMATS 2100.5?
