Re: weird "overheating" issue

Had a similar issue. Was the coolant bypass pipe leaking behind the pump. Had to replace the pipe, seals, thermostat housing and thermostat. As well as all hoses.

Re: Vibration Problem

Could be a bad tyre or a bent rim as well. If it was axles you'd get the vibration from about 25-40kmph.

First time euro buyer

So I'm about to enter into the euro world with a 2001 vw polo classic. Mileage just over 100k. Transmission already replaced, as well as new door locks. Cons are rear brake pads, a grey mix in the radiator (supposing head gasket), front power windows. If I undertake this buy what kind of funds would...

Re: CA18 Caburated!!!!

What specs you need to get? The order is 1-3-2-4. Was having some issues with my ca18i (single point fuel injected) but somehow the order starts from right to left and not left to right. Still checking it out. Will let you know

Have you at least checked the wheel bearing? When they are worn they make noise as well.

Re: double piston brakes on an ae91

Sounds like u have the wrong rotor installed. Could be as simple as using the Levin spindles complete ( if you cab find them) but don't try to fit it on the stock spindle as it touches. Could maybe try a 101 spindle with the Levin caliper as well as 101 rotors. I have complete 101 spindle on my ae91

Check the coolant temp sensor and the radiator fan switch sensor. If it causes your car to die while warm/hot, replace both sensors.

Re: fuel problems when cornering hard

If it dies under those conditions, then the pump is either shifting out of the gasoline, or the gasoline is sloshing about too much and is nowhere near the pump inlet. Could also be the float signalling that there is no gas in the car causing it to cut off

Re: KIA RIO (MECHANICAL HELP)

Ok. Sounds a bit weird. Let's see if we can't get a solution. Starter connects to the flywheel, which in turn, rotates the crankshaft and makes the pistons move and so on. If you are getting proper voltage and amperage to your starter then you should be starting normal. Start with finding out the re...

Re: NEED HELP WITH ENGINE IDLE PROBLEM!!!

Not sure if this may help. Have u checked your fuel pressure ( from in tank to filter to regulator to return line)? Also u said u changed throttle body but I don't know if u cleaned the manifold as well. If car idles normally without ac then the fluctuations are only under load and may be electrica...

Re: Ac high side line hotter than usual

Your a/c is overheating. The design of the system may be outdated to work with the materials used at this time. wouldn't say that it's outdated as the previous compressor blew cold but only when the car was moving and was diagnosed as being weak and on its way out. i know it is overheating (compres...

Re: Ac high side line hotter than usual

Did some googling and found that cleaning the condenser helps to reduce high side pressures and temperatures. Tried it last night but have no guages to check but ac blew colder. Hope it lasts the day for testing purposes at least.

Ac high side line hotter than usual

Have an ae91 corolla. Recently did some engine work and changed compressor as well. Found no leaks, vacuum pressures were good. Unfortunately I didn't know or was aware of at the time that when such is done it is advisable to change the dryer as well and check expansion valves etc. Now my ac blows c...
