Re: Nissan Serena C26 Problem - PLEASE HELP!!

The main problem I seeing here is that you have too much money. The minor problem with the vehicle... P0746 is transmission related to the line pressure solenoid. TCU fuse just don't blow for fun, something shorted, may be intermittent, but its still something failed in the transmission or its harne...

Re: A/C talk

It helps a little because the refrigerant is cooler entering the compressor, the condensor has a lil less work to do. It can however be dangerous if the expansion valve is not properly adjusted and/or if the AC individual overcharged the system, liquid will return to the compressor suction and compr...

Re: Engine operating temperature (discussion only)

Op is correct, with a Consult II level tool certain parameters can be adjusted. these will remain in effect until such time as changed, ecu reset or battery disconnected for enough time. Also for anyone interested, the older Consult I vehicles can be adjusted as well but have to be done at each star...

yes, but use the b14 shock head it is more recessed upwards so allows more shock travel and less chance of bottoming out.

Re: B14 bouncing to much in the back....need to stiffen

wha u using it for? PH or it load wid music? A stiffer shock that can fit your spring, or a stiffer spring shock combo is the way. Primera sedan rear shocks/spring is a good mid upgrade for the b14, so 3 ppl in back nice and level and smooth ride, car wont raise too much in back when empty. Primera ...

Re: Question: Do cars have heater cores?

"evaporator core passes coldness to the inside of d cabin. ( by using compressed refrigerant )" coldness cannot be passed. Like darkness being the absence of light, coldness is the absence of heat. AC systems and refrigeration systems are heat pumps, they typically move heat from a contain...

vehicle has 3L engine. A friend recently bought one of these and as usual the repairs falls to me. Currently the main things I see need replacing are the spring eye bushings, the gearbox mount, the rear diff cross and the front boot (right side inner). So as a general where is the best place to get ...

brakes will never work if the creature (can't call him a mech if he so dotish) put regular bolts where banjo are required. Those bolts are a special fine thread as well so where he got solid bolts to put in there is a testament to his skill. as previous poster said brake fluid is boiling, I would ha...

Re: Help identifying correct sr20 ecu

The correct maf for that is a plastic one. Afh-14 Hitachi
You can use several ecus. P11 or u14 for sr20. You can use the ecus from the ones that came mated to the cvt. But performance will be somewhat degraded.

are you getting one of those ecus for less than $3600 new? or getting one used for 2K or less? With todays options SAFC is a waste of time and money. There is an RPM switch that is dual that can control each cam separately if u wish. Switching the cams at once is not really too big an issue but it m...

well organise, I know you seem fixed on this unit. Re: Really really need help: Tiida Throttle Body HR16DE

put in the FU throttle. the water lines are for temperate countries where air temperatures can go low and this would cause freezing and build up of ice in the throttle. unless u driving in McDonalds warehouse freezer, this is not an issue for u. older cars that had regular x-cable would have a choke...

ok so roughly 60km a day 6 days so maybe 360+ km per full tank. on super, but it seems that the car is less fuel efficient on premium or it works so well that you drive radical with the preimum and bun out the gas faster. do your impul headers have an O2 sensor bung at the front near the radiator or...

Re: IMPUL SR20VE Hi Power Control Unit.

Re: IMPUL SR20VE Hi Power Control Unit.

Picture #3 doesn't belong here, that is not a SR20VE ecu, looks like a regular P11 type ecu for the SR20DE (non-CVT) and utilizes a daughterboard. It is a reprogrammed unit. It is compatible with the CVT, car stays stock and you plug in the ECU. MINES also makes similar unit. They are expensive unle...

Re: WTK--Water temp gauge in a 2010 nissan note

no, the gauge in the 2nd link comes complete, the 1st link is a replacement sensor and associated adaptors.

only thing u will need to add to the gauge to install it is a bit of wire from the sensor to the gauge and maybe some for power and illumination.

quality of the bushings is one thing, proper installation is the next, the rear bushing needs to be installed at the correct angle and this depends on the individual car and if it is lowered or raised. then the front bushing needs to be tightened when the car is resting on its wheels. U sure its not CVT right? Dipstick will say NS-2. Also in case you have the wrong dipstick look at the silver tag in the engine bay and at the tranny code. The CVT tranny will look physically different, have someone that knows look at it. If its not CVT then it is not the right oil so you should get...
