Before any product leaves a factory its put through some very harsh quality assurance tests. A manufacturer would never sell an engine that boils oil. You would just change the oil every 5,000kms or whatever the manufacturer recommends.

I changed the oil on my QD32 Frontier. The mileage was 127,260kms. I'm using Castrol CRB Viscus 15W40. Its replacing the CRB Turbo in Barbados. This oil has improved technology in it.

Which engine is it? YD25 or QD32. Nissan never made a YD32.

Sorry I took so long to reply but I'm now seeing your message. My mileage at the time of the oil change was 121,505kms.

In Barbados we aren't getting those twin turbo models. We are getting the 3.0.

I don't see NP anymore, I never saw much ppl buying it. Castrol oils is the number 1 oil in Barbados. We started to get Pennzoil this year & Mobil Delvac is only available at our local Toyota dealership.

Since I've had my QD32 Frontier I was trying out the different top brand oils available in my country Barbados. I've used Shell Rimula, Valvoline All Fleet Plus(black bottle) & Castrol CRB Turbo. Out of all so far my engine responds best on the Castrol. I'm about to try the Mobil Delvac 1300 Sup...
