didnt read through al these post but i went in there bcuz i needed to reseal my back glass becuz it waz leakin a bit n they told me 800 jus to take out n reinstall :S and d cost of a new glass there to install wz 1100 :S

D15B 3 Stage Vtec trouble and LF a manual ecu aslo

hi all, ive gotta stock 3stage vtec with gearbox ina eg8 installed over 1yr, worked fine n off lately it has a wierd problem..... It idles normal, starts normal but when you press down it redlines @ about 7200 (which ive read is normal) but on accelerating the rpm cant get passed 6000 in 1st 5500 in...

remove battery pole for a few mins den start up again.... sometimes that helps if a sensor got wet by accident

ok dat wz a real long time ago n i aint no xpert. like i said mabe a bad xperience.... but once i changed engine to vtec evryting went smooth same mngmnt.... if im nt mistakn my mech wz xplainin to me som bout the oil system bein more efficient in vtec head... som bout d holes bein closer..... nevr ...

oh i agree its easir...... but frm xperience the head n block is much weaker... mabe i jus had a bad xperience but stil blew 2 heads evn wit a proper managmnt system

turboin a non vtec isnt a very gd idea,,,, want a gd sound upgrade d air intake wit a k+n filtr
