Re: The Law and Tinted Vehicles

According to the Transport Commissioner. I don't agree with it, but they are the authority on the subject. Maybe someone will contest it, and let the judiciary have their input via case law, as is it stands. So the Transport Commissioner decide to take it upon himself to interpret the law as he see...

Re: Tech Thread - Nissan Frontier, Navara, Pathfinder.

Excellent thread. I've read through and learned a lot. Need a little assistance folks. Does anyone know how to replace the high mount stop light bulbs on the 2013 Navara 4x4 LE? I don't see anywhere on the inside headliner to access any nuts to release the high mount stop light assembly. I'm wonder...

Why fight a war with bullets when you can fight an economic or technology war? Unfortunately the US late in realising that.

Re: Navara oil light

It's not difficult to replace. The hardest part is moving the transmission cooler lines out of the way. This can be done by removing two 10mm screws that
are holding the clamps.

I would suggest that you do that at your next oil change. Oil will come out if the oil pan is full.

Re: Navara oil light

There is an old level sensor on the driver's side just above the oil pan. That sensor causes this problem not the oil pressure switch.

Re: Portable generator to connect to house panel

You would have to get a generator licence from t&tec if you want connect it to your panel. I suggest you contact them before purchasing the generator. Please don't try a thing and just install it. You can have feedback on the line and kill someone. This has happened several years ago at Pier 1. ...

I don't support dictatorship but be very careful about putting the US on a pedestal. They have done really bad things in the name of democracy.

Re: Fidel Castro is no more

Isn't the fact that Cuba is the way it is partly to blame on the unnecessary US embargo? Year after year there is a none binding vote at the UN to lift the embargo yet the US refuses. There was hope this year with the announcement by Obama but now Trump plans on reversing it.

Gas no longer subsidized only diesel is (was speaking about the present). Yes some pickup owners are tax payers (probably not all), but that does not justify why the money I pay in taxes should go to helping raj make a puncheon fueled curry duck cook out by the river in his new Hilux... That adds n...

Re: RE: Re: 65KM/H speed limit on pickups, vans, omnibuses and goods vehicles

It's interesting how many people thinks the 50, 65 and 80 speed limits are good and shouldn't change. What was the speed you were driving before? Cause I can't remember seeing a lot of people driving at the speed limit before the speed guns. Just saying... What one is accustomed to doing doesn't ov...

Re: 65KM/H speed limit on pickups, vans, omnibuses and goods vehicles

Do most people realise that the speed rules were last amended in 1969. Back then they didn't have seatbelts, abs, airbags and all the other safety features that modern cars have. In fact some pickup's are coming with stability control now. The road conditions were worse then as well. My point is jus...

Just follow the bottom hose from the radiator to the engine. The thermostat is located at the point where the hose connects to the engine. There are two bolts holding thermostat cover to the engine. Just disconnect the hose, undo the bolts on the cover and you can remove the thermostat. It's easy to...
