Re: Car Polishing 101

http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-polishing.html just came across this link very helpful info here Yes Cinco, the Porter Cable is pretty well known, far and wide, and the dual action polisher/buffer that most beginners would start with. The main feature of course with DA's is their safety. But the...

Re: What kind of car polish or wax you use on your car?

where can i source a good claybar locally ? Hi there, I don't know if you guys know, but there is now the new 'synthetic' clay which has its virtues over the traditional clay bar. If this product falls to the ground, you can just wash if off and continue to use it! Not so with an ordinary clay bar....

I'm kinda sending a buckshot your way too. So you think you can just jump in one of these monsters, hit the pedal, and VOOM!, YUH WIN! See wh...

Re: Sheldon Bissessar - Racing Hero????

No offense to any of you guys but Sheldon Bissessar in my books is not the hero you all make him out to be. All of his records are strictly money based. His current ride is a $700,000 US machine built to race in an outlaw class basically created for him to race with no competition. He has also hire...

Re: Car Polishing 101

http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-polishing.html just came across this link very helpful info here Hi there, Yep, that's an informative post. I know because as a detailer, I use the Porter Cable regularly. And its almost impossible to damage the paint with a 'dual action' polisher. But Mr. Flex XC...

Re: What protectant you use on your dashboard?

What do ya'll use on your dashboard to keep it clean and looking fairly new? Without the shiney, greasy feeling of amorall? (people still use that?) Hi there. Most have come to be wary of Armorall by now, though I believe they have improved on their product. In the past they actually had a petroleu...

Re: What kind of car polish or wax you use on your car?

Hi Guys, I'm in tune with some of what is said to this question. Someone spoke about the importance of prep work being about 60% important to the final finish; that's pretty true. You've got to polish (which may involve pre-compounding if condition is bad enough) in the right sequence, technique and...
