i had to make same decision 2 years ago, according to the years you mention pajero had an updated bigger model while prado was still a first gen, i drove both and considered expense for service and repair and parts. i bought a 2007 pajero very very happy it, no complains and still had change to buy ...

Nice topic, i have 2 atvs with P plates and atleast 5 friends including that red one in the van that has P plates
LIC office stop giving P plates back in 2008 but a few atvs got them and the prices is not cheap X plates need a police escort to ride on pave roads hope this info helps
