Re: Motorcycle Riders

I disagree with 3stagevtec. Start on a small bike, especially if you're going super sport in the end. Anybody could learn on a cruiser. Not anybody could learn on a super sport. I started on a 750 gsxr and I wish I had started of on a smaller cc bike At this point I'm in full control of my bike both ...

Re: WTK Is Lane Splitting Really Illegal???

Men very emotional about bike men in this thread. I know as a child you all dreamed about jumping on a nice sport bike, and your ponytail blowing in the breeze, but your balls just never grew to facilitate that so now you've grown a hate for what you deep down wish you could be....Smalls. I'm sure n...

Re: Looking to Get my First Motorbike(Your thoughts as a bik

Firstly don't listen to Ted... ask slartibartfast, we had a friend sell his 08 gixxer to a newbie and he ended up starfishing by caroni roundabout. The speed is addicting but not easily controllable. Super sports are unforgiving. You could buy a super sport and look cool and not be able to ride for ...

Re: Motorcycle Riders

In chaguanas u can't stand up by the road and you're sure to see a bike every 5 mins. What you expect if you stand up by the bike mechanic whole day? Ahahhaha. Idk what you speak off Ruff. BTW I went through the comments and it the poster of the video said the rider is an experienced rider ri...

Re: Motorcycle Riders

Uhm. I really don't understand what happened in that vid. He wasn't leaning at all, his body that is. He came off his gas through the corner. Idk why he would do that, especially seeing that its such a baby corner that also looks fun to power through. Lastly he target fixates on that truck for a rid...

Re: Motorcycle Riders

I've come to understand its basically about the common sight of motorcycles from central come down. In chaguanas u can't stand up by the road and you're sure to see a bike every 5 mins. In the east not anything close. So drivers more accustomed with us as a normal part of traffic, so they are more a...

Lol. You does get enough abuse from your wife so I understand. I ride my ride in what makes me comfortable, you know this. Brasso and half the team in slippers and wifebeaters. Re: Motorcycle Riders

That's why I said its something of personal choice. I have hit the black carpet at 100/km+ already. In no gears. I've been hit by a car going about 180km. Shocks split in half everything, but needless to say I still wear what I choose to when riding.

Re: Motorcycle Riders

Lol. I have gears but quite honestly, I'm a short pants a juzzy rider most of the time. Long extended rides like Toco, siparia etc I will jacket down or when training. Its personal choice, nothing to do with ignorance because I know the consequences. I've been in my share of crashes and touch downs....

Re: Motorcycle Riders

Chicken strips don't mean anything . You can lose you chicken strips the day you change your tire, every time you do. Its not hard. Nothing is wrong wit having chicken strips. But I can't stand to see square tires of a man who doesn't lean at all doh. I know men who ride for image and their tires ar...

Re: Motorcycle Riders

clutch use for me is for pulling off, stopping, low speed/granny shifting and going through tight turns where i don't want to dowshift, but still keep the revs up...if i'm riding hard its all clutchless... same here. I learned to downshift in my corners also. My back doesn't bother me in the least....

I work in the airport and Iive Chag. Traffic to go and from work but I always take the highway instead of the back road which is traffic free. Re: R.I.P Alex Atherton

This indeed is a sad incident. For a guy only riding two (or 4 days according to his family and close friends) a 600 is no bike to start off on. I'm sorry this had to happen to such a young talented guy but watching that screen shot where he said he hit a pothole, why in hell was he already testing ...
