aaron still on low boost. yet to do a proper high boost pass (200+ hp extra)

hit Esc and see where it freezes.

Most likely it's freezing at the Sendmail startup, usually when you change the machine name/ip and it's not in the hosts file or the ip doesn't/can't resolve.

Re: My 1980 GH Sigma SR20DET/VVL RWD Update Manifold here!!

went with a billet ebay throttle body (80mm). it comes with the flange to weld on, and is the same bolt spacing as the Q45 tb. when you get the flange, chop the old flange off, line up the new one horizontally, weld it up. you could even give it a slight downward angle when getting it welded back on...

Re: My 1980 GH Sigma SR20DET/VVL RWD Update Manifold here!!

i have to say this is looking real good. good to see you're taking your time and getting quality parts for your build. watch out for hood clearance issues with the XM intake. i had issues with the throttle pulley rubbing when the bonnet was closed, and ended up just welding on a Q45 throttle flange ...

dude, try the uniq command from the command prompt.

it takes an arbitrary text file and spits it back out with the duplicates removed. exactly what you want.

i'm sure our goals are very different. my goal is a responsive all-round car doing 400-450whp max with a BROAD powerband -- 3500-9000rpm.

clutch -- ORC-409D single plate
turbo -- gtx3071r

Re: Coming Soon: Trini's 1st , Prettiest? SR20DET/VVL RWD

a vvl head has a shitload of advantages: - biggest being a solid valvetrain rather than hydraulic lifters - as is, much better flow than the DE head. - the low cam has the built-in overlap similar to VTC that gives low-end torque - the high lift 20VE cam is just about equivalent to an aftermarket 26...

Re: Coming Soon: Trini's 1st , Prettiest? SR20DET/VVL RWD

if you use the 20V or VET CAS you can get by with the stock ECU and a piggyback, or something like a power fc.

i opted to use the mazworx hall sensor kit with the aem ems standalone i had before.

Re: Best Clutch??? need help

yeah i have a used ACT HD and 6 puck --> /viewtopic.php?f=6&t=354688

the ACT is more than doable for drifting. it'll handle clutch kicks just fine. riding the clutch is the biggest killer.

Re: Best Clutch??? need help

sorry to say but at $3000, ACT heavy duty + 6puck is your only option.

If you can find it used, a single or twin disc clutch (ORC, os giken, nismo, cusco) will be perfect.

Re: Wood or other material to build top of pergola

they supplied (and installed) the greenheart for some wood flooring. greenheart, teak, and other hard woods are naturally termite resistant, but for external you'll need to use a sealer. there's no external and internal wood per se. i plan to check them again to do some outdoor wooden decking and a ...

Re: S14 Goal_1 -300 on T28/440s-

I'm in the mddle of the VET as well but that's more long term for 300. and yeah, 300 will be at the edge of the t28 for sure. If you have vet as a long term goal, go with a good standalone -- aem ems, haltech platinum, etc. You can mix and match ignition triggers to suit whatever is within budget or...

Want 300?
-power fc
-cams (not too aggressive or you'll lose low end, maybe hks 256/264)
-17-18psi with some good octane (93mon) and you should be hitting 300 give or take a 5whp
