Bought a Toshiba for my sis a couple years back and still works perfect.....I honestly thought Lacie was a reputable brand.

@snatman......thanks man. Calling them now. If it not getting any power at all it might be a problem with the casing and wiring and not the actual hard drive itself. You could probably look at buying a new casing on amazon and putting the hard drive in there. A partner was telling me to do that. But...

external harddrive......help needed

Tuners, as stated, need help with a 2TB Lacie P9230 external harddrive. Currently it's not powering on and I need the information backed up on it. Any suggestions where I can check to recover the info?
Searched for topic before but didn't find anything.

Habit, you hit the nail on the head there!

Passed last night to try out this new "west" craze. Waited 10 mins and only one person got through, got fed up and left. It really doesn't seem worth it. Btw, they should get an injun to wrap those choubles for them.
