Re: Tech Thread - Toyota Hilux...D4D and all older models.

Does anyone have a list of the D4D issues and preventative maintenance or resolution? This would be a nice resource for everyone to have .

Re: Tyres for Hilux - highway or all terrain

Second set of Bridgestone 265 65 17 684 II on the Hilux. Use Bridgestone on the Ford and Frontier years ago. EXCELLENT grip on dry, 50k mileage and more, excellent for road Hazards. FAILURE on wet roads, absolute FAILURE. Anyone knows who has the Firestone in 17''? All merchants I checked got them o...

Bulb change so will monitor. YouTube has information on basic checks when abs light is on. Check fluid, fuse and bulb. So apparently any of these faults call intermittently disable abs. What a world of sense

One of my brake light blown. Not sure why abs light will come on intermittently because of a blown brake bulb. Will replace brake bulb tomorrow and see if abs light never ever comes on again.

Re: Tech Thread - Toyota Hilux...D4D and all older models.

My abs light comes on and remains on and abs does not work. If I switch off and back on the light goes off and abs works. Eventually while driving it comes on and remains on. 2012 3.0 4x4 hilux. Unit under warranty. What does this mean?

Re: Tech Thread - Toyota Hilux...D4D and all older models.

Why can I not chang oil every 10k on the hilux 3.0d4d. If I use fully synthetic oil like Mobil 1 or delvac, every 10k should be fine instead of 8k or 5k right?

Re: Recomendations for 4x4 tyres

LOL guys u r making fun of me, but honestly I have no reason for buying the 4x4, at the time when the model was new I got it for $169,000 on the road so it was a good deal then. I wanted a 2 wheel drive van that was high like the 4x4 but none came in manual which is my preference. Hope this clears i...

Re: Mr. Lighthammer!!.....

Fix was to drill the holes wider and secure the rim of the holes with silicon because silicon can expand and contract. the sen...
