Re: WTK : Converting a flat house to a 2 storey house

Not exactly relevant, but since the idea of unsupported projection over the existing house was raised, take a look at this: http://architecturelinked.com/profiles/ ... stitute-of

To be clear, that projection isn't roof... it's where the exhibits are.

Re: WALK - In memory of Accident at Mosquito Creek 15th Aug

Can't believe it's been a year already. I would suggest that we need to be careful and smart about how we remember these incidents and the people that were lost: imo, the little shrine-like setup at the side of the road for one of the children who passed, while always clean and in pristine condition...

I'll disagree... I found Optometrists Today to be: slow (took me >5 weeks to get my frames/lenses), pricey (my lenses alone cost more than my previous frames + lenses: High Density/ AR Coated) and stingy (didn't even get a small bottle of lens cleaner which is NEEDED for AR lenses) AND my right eye ...

Did you buy this? I've had my Altis for a little over a year and half with no worries other than warped rotors which I got machined. Pretty decent every day driver... I work it pretty hard, clocking 160-170 both ways on the highway every day... I've done about 50 000 km in it so far. Back suspension...
