I kinda curious to know since i have never heard an iPod connected directly to a deck ....what they sound like....if there is any difference in the signal quality......and overall sound quality .....

Well I've heard jl comps and DLS comps.....but the lines i heard may not be a proper comparison.........but i would say either way ya would be safe......both are excellent sounding................

DLS may be cheaper though

yea what i saw wuz that one of the wires.......had found it way under the seat bolt....and when that was tightened ........well it chip away at a small piece of the rubber insulation.........xposing about a 2mm of wire lol........so i assuming thas it.....

Just one quick question..........I had a 9853.........IC blow.....no speaker output......no voltage on the pre ampout..... heard of another unit that blew........Is this a common problem or are these isolated incidents?.......cuz in reviewing my install i came across something small that COULD have ...

go with ah hcca 15" or 12"....those would run nicely....rel noise....jus do ya necessary electrical upgrades though..............cuz when ya drop dat power acoustik to 1 ohm.......level power suckin.................level heat....LEVEL!!!! make sure it in a good box too though.... talking from experi...

Yea Kenwoods sound good.......but two ppl i know...their own went bad after a while
They stopped reading cd's totlally among other things........but that was with the models before those out now though
