Re: SUSPEX vs DROP SHOP

one more thing, a station wagon is designed to carry load, hence the stiffer springs. If you plan to carry load, softer springs will compromise your load-bearing capacity, as well as handling.......just remember, once you go with softer springs, the cornering limits of the car will be less, so no r...

but when would it be cost effective to install solar panels on your roof? i guess that'll be a long time from now It could work out to be cost effective based on what u are utlilzing it for... Meaning; u wouldnt put out all that money to purchase the equipment, to install it and to maintain it just...

Re: The Official

Trinidad sweet when it comes to power supply. Soon we will have 720MW of power to place on the grid from La Brea. We living it up yo! Right now they can supply 480 MW. When the two steam turbines get commissioned, that will be an additional 240MW. The more power T&TEC has to offer the lower wil...

Re: SUSPEX vs DROP SHOP

real smooth ride=air ride suspension. as for dropping, never had faith in suspex, drop shop does good work when dey ready, smalls does a good job as well.but if you looking for a simple drop you could easily cut 1 coil of the spring to the front and 1 1/2 to the back...ride is really good and you can...

Re: The Official

It did went down at approx that time but remember these power plants are strategically placed to supply high demanding areas - that's why there is one in PoS, PtLisas, & Penal. These power stations are given a certain area to monitor and provide for. (eg) If Pt Lisas increases in their demand; t...

Re: SUSPEX vs DROP SHOP

Neither of the two shops will give you the ride you want. You will just be pleased aesthetically. Once the suspension is lowered you will get a stiffer ride. Check in the Classifieds and get some drop springs for your car. All Drop Shop and Suspex is going to do is cut your springs/alter your shock...

Re: The Official

What I meant by not being on the grid is that T&TEC’s Board has not come to a final decision on how and where to utilize this power and therefore nothing was put in place for “tapping” even in an emergency. Discussions are being held to “completely” merge this power to the nationwide grid for av...

Proper facilities are not in place as yet for safe distribution of that power…

Re: The Official

What happened was; the Powergen Power Plant, located at Pt Lisas had an emergency and was forced to temporarily shut down. As a result, the Powergen in POS had to undergo "Load Shedding" to maintain supply to particular industries in south and north. Load Shedding: this is what a Power Sta...

Re: AD Wagon - Softer, Smoother Ride

ride quality is a function of the spring and shock combo the 'shock absorber' is really called a damper, because it dampens the motion of the spring......without a damper, a car would be very bouncy and springy.......... a firm damper typically limits the bounciness (jounce and rebound) of the spri...

Re: Y11 AD Wagon Transmission

Rebuild all the way. A foreign used QG transmission costs about $2500, then you have to consider the cost to actually replace it, while a rebuild with new parts costing around $2200. Do I really have to re-build the entire transmission if it is jus the clutches that are bad. And so much money for a...
