2nd gear is slow on one of my almeras (feels like its holding back)......can this be adjusted somehow??....and will the qr20 throttle body make a difference??

help...AC blower motor in de Almera making a heavy knocking noise on 1......but on 2,3,and 4 no noise....from 2 go up is like ice age....but ah can't take that knocking sound on 1
