Gain on what amp or pre amp

I have a soundown e12d2 playsss veryyy good but only problem is it plays very loud at midrange volume and wen i do crank my volume bass seems to get softer how could i fix this problem

One problem guys the memphis drops only to 50hz but i was told that there is a chip that i cud change to get it down to about 35 where can i buy this and is possible to do with memphis
