Re: Can't find my car since flood waters covered it

Y'all does kill me with making everything political. When in fact, what took place was an occurrence caused by us all. For once push that aside and let's just help each other nah .... Anyways fella... do some research as stranded vehicles were towed out the water so chances your vehicle may probably...

Practice what he preaches and allow for his own income to be taxed just the same. 5% pay cut won't "cut" it

Re: Fuse getting hot and melting.

Try not to rely on electrical tape alone. There are heat shrinks and rubber tape that are better suited for wires that are located in heated areas such as the engine bay.

Rt Stance Rim repair

Does anyone know where I can get my rt stance rims repaired. I scuffed them already and heard that they can be fixed? So if anyone knows of a place that does the repairs can point me in said direction... I'd appreciate it!

3zz engine knock

Okay I'm hearing a loud knocking noise emanating from the engine and a mechanic told me it's a bearing down by the connecting rod for the Pistons going through. The solution is to replace the head and block so I've searched for one and to be honest the prices I'm heating is ludicrous! So my question...

I ordered my eyelids online.... they came carbon but the carbon didn't look good as my nze is silver so I repainted them. As for the main switch, yeah check either Seenaths or D&D auto parts in bamboo #1.

Re: The NZE Corolla Thread

How can you tell when the temp sensor is going bad? In my case when I switch on the a/c and switch it off almost immediately the fan stays on for about 30secs on a cold engine and about 90secs when engine is hot. Has anyone experienced that? And where is the temp sensor? Is it placed on the chassis ...

any advise on an alternative oil filter than the OEM toyota for the 3zz-fe engine. I am staying clear of fram. Is the puralator pure one good???? Purolator Pure One is good, Royal Purple is best. Yes.. in a comparison of two items the superlative term would be "better". However, Royal Pur...

Re: The NZE Corolla Thread

So I've figured out why my fan was staying on when the a/c was on, its simply because my coolant levels were low so the temp sensor kept it on and the garage used substitute coolant and not the original Toyota brand coolant. So I bought a gallon of Toyota coolant and changed my coolant and now it c...

Re: wiring a normally closed circuit for car door

No the GPS has two wires, one for when the door is open and one for when the door is closed. It's the same as the viper alarm as well. On my b14 there's two wires coming from the door. One sends signal when the door is open and the other sends signal when its closed. So I was thinking to make the GP...

wiring a normally closed circuit for car door

So I've wired in a GPS tracker in a friend's car and encountered that the door sensor has only one wire as opposed to older model cars that have two wires. So part of the mechanism for the GPS and most alarms is to be wired to two wires one signaling when the door is closed and the other wire signal...

It turns out it was the shield behind the rotor touching at the bottom, the noise has stopped, but I'm still going to have the rotors machined for smoother handling.
