Yes you can use it without the battery long term, you just won't get the benefits of backup power.

Was gonna buy a new battery, but i bought a new UPS instead which i have currently on my desktop. All sockets are full. Is it safe to use it without the battery?

Not sure how to ask this, but can you use a UPS without the battery on a daily basis just for teh surge protection? I got an APC ES 550 but the battery is somehow not working (idk y), can i use this on my laptop as a surge protector?

I have been getting some problems with my pc also, i will be using my the system as usual and it just cut off an shows a blue screen saying "unknown hard error" i cant remember the codes it wrote, any idea what is causing this?

From what I've heard, C&G and UTT certificates are acceptable here, the advantage that UTT has over C&G is that they have contracts with most companies here, so it would be alot easier to get a job with a UTT pass. I think UWI accepts the C&G advanced diplomas (LVL 3) to do the degree le...
